A massive large-scale study was done analyzing 2 groups of people – half of them drank green tea 3 or more times a week, and half of them didn’t.
The results of the study were shocking and revealed those who drank green tea 3 more times a week had a 56 percent lower risk of fatal heart disease and stroke.
“Habitual tea drinkers were found to be 20 percent less likely to develop heart disease and stroke, 22 percent less likely to die from heart disease and stroke, and 15 percent less likely to die of other causes.
A subset of slightly more than 14,000 people was also assessed in a follow-up study.
Those who kept their tea-drinking habit in both studies saw more pronounced benefits, including a 56 percent lower risk of fatal heart disease and stroke.”
More research needs to be done, but this is great news for those who have been long-time advocates for this health beverage.

These compounds also have a reduction in inflammation and makes our platelets, clotting factor, less sticky.”
