The push to force Americans into getting the flu shot is at an epic high.

One can’t even walk into a drugstore without being bombarded with “free coupons” for getting the flu shot.

In fact, most western medicine doctors don’t even ask you if you’re interested in getting it – they simply assume you are and flag your chart if you haven’t.

But don’t succumb to the pressure!

Here are 3 reasons why you should hold the line and resist the flu shot this year.

You Are Literally Injecting Your Body With The Flu

Many people are shocked once they get the flu shot – they suddenly get the flu.

    But what did you expect?

It can take up to 2 weeks for the flu shot to be “effective” – and that is if the proper strand was selected that particular year.

And those with compromised immune systems aren’t often strong enough to resist getting the flu injected into their body – and end up getting sick regardless.

    It’s A Guessing Game

The truth is, “health experts” don’t know what strand of flu is circling around each year so they make an educated guess.

And Americans like guinea pigs line up to be injected with whatever the experts claim is the most likely strand.

If the wrong flu strand is picked – the flu shot is basically pointless.

    Allergic Reaction

Every person is different – and some bodies actually reject the flu vaccine.

The majority of flu shots contain egg proteins which could cause allergic reactions in those with egg allergies.

Other people suffer different types of allergic reactions and end up developing symptoms from the flu shot.

So while people think they are getting a shot that will “help them” – the flu shot can make it hard for some to breathe and even cause hives.

    Healthline reported:

“Some people may have a negative reaction to the flu shot. If you have a negative reaction to the vaccine, symptoms usually occur within minutes to hours after receiving the vaccine. Symptoms may include:

    • difficulty breathing
    • wheezing
    • rapid heartbeat
    • rash or hives
    • swelling around the eyes and mouth
    • feeling weak or dizzy”

    Alternative Options

The key to staying healthy this winter is to keep your immune system strong.

Make sure to practice good hygiene habits like washing your hands and being mindful when in germ hotbed environments.

Maintain a healthy supplement regimen and load up on Vitamin C and Zinc.

Prevention is key – but should you find yourself getting sick load up on Elderberry Syrup and up your Vitamin C intake.

Don’t forget to stay hydrated and sip healthy hot teas, and get plenty of sleep!

And remember – getting the flu shot does not mean you won’t get the flu – it could be just the opposite.
