Sugar-Free Greek Yogurt
A small container of cold Greek yogurt can help soothe a sore throat when you’re feeling sick.
Greek yogurt is also packed with calcium and protein which will fuel your body with healthy nutrients it craves.
Some yogurts even contain probiotics which will help regulate healthy bacteria in your gut.
If you’re really feeling hungry, consider throwing in a healthy fruit like blueberries which also have antioxidant properties.
Herbal Tea + Honey
Let’s face it – sometimes we just really aren’t hungry when we’re sick.
If you can’t stomach the thought of eating solid food – opt for a cup of herbal tea with honey.
The honey will help soothe a raspy sore throat and you can even add in a pinch of turmeric for additional anti-inflammation benefits!

And today, chicken noodle soup is still the number one recommended food to eat while sick.
The hot broth and steam help break up mucus and congestion in your sinus cavities helping you to breathe better.
