Well, as it turns out, the inside of bread and many other carbohydrate-rich foods are microscopic nutrients that could feed a dangerous overgrowth inside of your body.

So What is Candida?

Candida is a yeast overgrowth that forms when a fungus invades your body and sets up residence.

The reason why is complex carbohydrates (which are just complicated formations of sugars) give candida yeasts ample fuel for growth. Disaccharides are in things like milk products and table sugars. Polysaccharides come from plant-based sources like potatoes, grains, corn and more.
