A combination of garlic, apple cider vinegar and honey is an tonic whose health benefits have been proven through research. Each of the individual ingredients possesses curative properties. Taken together, these three ingredients comprise a powerful treatment for many ills.

According to the National Institutes of Health, garlic is often used to treat cardiovascular disorders such as atherosclerosis, high cholesterol, coronary heart disease, heart attack and hypertension.

Research shows it helps in wound care and is a cough suppressant. In the laboratory, it has been proven to slow the growth of food-borne bacteria, and to kill some types of bacteria.

To make the remedy, combine:

– 1 cup apple cider vinegar
– 1 cup honey, organic and unpasteurized

Preparation:

Swirl all the ingredients together in a blender for 60-90 seconds, until they are well combined. Store the recipe in a jar in the refrigerator. Use it within five days.
